Popper -- I was in the same boat as you until today. I just looked and my application has now been forwarded to adcom. My materials were all in at a similar time to yours. Still no interview invite, but at least they are looking.

Awesome for you. I'm checking every day waiting for mine to forward to committee....hopefully soon as I applied 1/15 also. I did have my interview already though. pauly, you can see your status under the GIAC status check.

Not actually good news perhaps..... It seems that UT is quick to invite people to interview (from what I've gathered from previous posts) but has not invited me!

ahh i see...does it only get forwarded to commitee once ur interview is complete?

I'm pretty sure mine said "forwarded for review" before my interview. If you have interviewed and it still doesn't say that, my guess is that it's just a delay on the status check page. If you've been interviewed, the committee must have started the review already.

My application status shows that the file is forwarded to the Graduation Committee for review.....It has been more than 15 days now and till no news...... :(

Is no news a good news? :?: I hope. :wink:

Do any of you know whether there is any deadline by when R2 applicants should be knowing the status. For R1, the status should be known latest by Jan 30th.

I hope you're right but I'm not sure. I got my interview invite exactly 2 weeks from my submission (1/15 and 1/29 respectively). Seems pretty quick for it to have already been forwarded for review. Oh well, either way, the wait is killer.

From what i've seen it has been anywhere from 10 days to 2 months.

I got in !!! I received the phone call today at 6:14 PM EST.

I interviewed on Monday, Feb 8th - a turnaround time of 3 days!!! I am stunned !!

Thanks everyone ! I have been wait listed at Stern w/o interview - was not sure what color to use :)

@Merkin - My application was complete on Jan 15th and received invite on Jan 29th. What time was your interview and did you take the tour/attend the class? We probably ran into each other. I was there for the 10 AM interview and I was part of the group that had lunch with current students at 12:30.

I interviewed off campus, just the same day. I visited campus on the 29th for MBA Day. Anyway, your progress will only make me more anxious. Congrats again!

Do we think they might make a bunch of admit calls tomorrow? I know they've been doing it in waves. I interviewed 2/1 so I guess it's time to start waiting for calls or (hopefully not) emails.

Hey Merkin,

I wonder what the difference between off campus and on campus interviews is really like. Not sure if that affects decision timelines or what.

I got the interview invite Jan 23rd and I interviewed in Dallas Feb 2nd. Not sure when the Alumni submitted the information but I heard they have 2 wks from the interview date to submit.

Crossing my fingers and hoping I get in!
