Hey Merkin,

I wonder what the difference between off campus and on campus interviews is really like. Not sure if that affects decision timelines or what.

I got the interview invite Jan 23rd and I interviewed in Dallas Feb 2nd. Not sure when the Alumni submitted the information but I heard they have 2 wks from the interview date to submit.

Crossing my fingers and hoping I get in!

They claim it makes no difference, but you are probably correct with respect to submission times. I suspect there is a much greater lag with alumni submissions.

Some quick stats as we head into Friday: of the 23 admits on this board who disclosed acceptance date, 13 came on a friday, 4 on Thurs, 3 on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.

I had an interview invitation yesterday
I can't find any alumni in my country or in anywhere near me :(
any idea whether skype interviews are offered? they say no to telephone interviews. ..

anandnesan, Congrats on the admit! That's awesome. You've given me hope that I may hear back sooner than I expected (or not). I was in that 12:30 group. I was the guy from Boston that went to the Marketing class and watched Super Bowl commercials. Were you in the group that went to the Global Finance class?

for anyone that is still waiting, just checked today to see my app finally moved on to the committee. Last document (transcripts) were posted 1/19 but I was told over the phone that it didn't go final until 1/28.

Just got interview invite today at 11:15 cst. App was complete 12/21 and forwarded for review first week of January. Went to visit in October. Did the class and the lunch with current students. I am from Chicago and McCombs is my #1. I think going down again for an on-campus is the best bet. What's another $500 this far into the game, right :-D ?
