In a simliar boat...
App submitted 1/10 (minor transcript issue forced me to call and clarify)
Sent for review 2/1
Interview invite 3/1 (scheduled for 3rd week in March because of their Spring break)
I am really excited to for the visit/interview. Do you think interviewing this late in the process hurts my chances? It seems like all other Round 2 applicants heard back and/or set-up interviews within 2-3 after submitting...and many have already been given a decision by adcom for Fall 2010. Any thoughts...

Hum.....Waiting to hear for atleast a DING if NOT an interview invite. God......it is one hell of a patience testing process.

Just from a numbers standpoint it gets more difficult as the class fills up. I think many of us who applied in January would have had an excellent shot in november but now we're on pins and needles. I don't think "many" R2 have received decisions yet, at least as far as those who applied in January. The big surge last Friday was driven by the consortium crowd. You are correct about the interview invites but I wouldn't let that discourage you, the whole process can be pretty random. As I have said, I got my iview invite 2 weeks after I applied but my status didn't change to "forwarded to adcom" for another 2 weeks after that. Here's hoping we all hear something soon.
