Hi everyone. Got accepted today and wanted to share my experience.

I applied January 18 and received an interview invitation through e-mail on January 23. I scheduled an on-campus interview for February 5. I arrived a day early to attend a class, have lunch with a student, and go to the weekly Thursday night “think & drink.” The interview was with a second year student and surprisingly soft. I received an e-mail from Vicki telling me to call about my application March 5. After calling, I got the good news.

By the way, I never could get the status check link to work (always had the infinite loop). I am also probably a somewhat untraditional applicant as a transfer student. Good luck to everyone still waiting.

qdevery, my timing is close to yours - 1/13 submission, 2/1 interview, and nada at the moment. My interviewer told me that it normally will take 4-8 weeks for a response and to call them if we haven't heard anything within 8 weeks. I suppose compared to that timeline, we are still 5 weeks in with 3 weeks to go before we need to be worried. Grats to all that got in today - my condolences to those that got dinged.

Painful is that I was invited to interview 1/13, interviewed 2/10, and haven't received any word, nor has my status been updated!

I think it might be a positive sign, but I am not sure which criteria they screen persons to have a 2nd interview. It is uncommon.

However, I will think it is a good opportunity that I could have two times to present myself. I'll try my best.

Is anyone else waiting as long as I am?

Submitted: Jan 15th
Materials complete (online): Jan 19th
App "complete" (told me on phone): Jan 28th

I called about an hour and a half ago and spoke with someone who told me she had to check on something and would call me back with a timeline. I haven't heard back.

US citizen but international applicant, if that matters.
