Don't worry, you will be considered for R2, this is just the weird way the McCombs admissions work.

Any idea if still interview invites are being sent for R1? I am still waiting for it and now losing hope

Will all R1 decisions come in on the 19th or does McCombs typically start sending some out beforehand?

Difficult to say, unfortunately. For starters, the website actually says "the week of the 19th," so in theory it could be anytime next week. Additionally, this is the first time in recent history that Texas has used a standard Round method of applications instead of their previous rolling application method. That being said, there isn't any information from previous years to go on since there weren't any deadline dates previously, as far as I know. Here's hoping they start on friday for a great start to the weekend!

I'm not expecting anything until Monday at least, and yes it could be anytime next week. They purposely didn't narrow it down to a specific date, probably just to give themselves some breathing room to make sure they can notify everyone in that time and nobody freaks out because they didn't hear anything either way on any particular day.
