Got the notification email at midnight last night and just got a call from the admissions office. They said to look out for an email this afternoon with scholarship info and admit weekend details.

I hope they also send out some official waitlist instructions for those of us in that boat to clear up any questions regarding what kind of updates they'd like to see from WL'd people.

In general, congrats to everyone who got admitted, and condolences to those who were disappointed. Either way please don't forget to update your GMAT profile to reflect admits, dings, waitlists, and matriculations when you receive news or make your decision.

Congrats to everyone who got in.

I received a mail confirming a decision has been rendered about 8 hours ago. However, when I login on admissions.symplicity or on GIAC Material Status check, I cant find any official communication.

Kindly let me know if something else needs to be done to view the decision.

Submited my application on the 5th of December, 5 minutes before deadline. Submited payment and transcripts to GIAC on the 12th.

My decision was there when I logged into McCombs connect (symplicity). It wasn't on GIAC. The place to check is here using your UT EID: https://mccombs-utexas-admissions.symplicity.com/?

If it doesn't show anything in a couple days I would contact the admissions office to find out. Anyone that has questions for them should ask this week, they announced this on the blog today: The McCombs School of Business and the MBA Program Office will be closed from Friday, December 23, 2011 through Monday, January 2, 2012.

My decision was there when I logged into McCombs connect (symplicity). It wasn't on GIAC. The place to check is here using your UT EID: mccombs-utexas-admissions.symplicity/?

I'm guessing they just haven't updated your page yet, or however the system works. A lot of people got "early" decisions starting last night and this morning, but they did give themselves the whole week to get all the decisions out there. I'd give it a day or two and if it's still not showing up call or e-mail them and let them know that you got the e-mail but the decision isn't showing up when you log in.

Man I'm sure glad I don't work in an admissions office right now. :-D

To all of us that have been admitted and are awaiting scholarship information, I called the admissions office and they said that an e-mail would be sent today if a student is being offered an award. If you don't receive an e-mail, that means they aren't offering you a scholarship.

same here... I received a call from UT and I asked them if there was any scholarship. The lady (Shelly) told me we might receive an email if you get awarded with a scholarship..it is 6:00 and still no email..so I guess no scholarship..is anybody here getting a scholarship?

same here... I received a call from UT and I asked them if there was any scholarship. The lady (Shelly) told me we might receive an email if you get awarded with a scholarship..it is 6:00 and still no email..so I guess no scholarship..is anybody here getting a scholarship?

Same here, Shelly told me that the scholarship information (if any) should come in an e-mail. I already received the official e-mail but no scholarship information, so I guess that means I didn't get any.

I got an email with the subject line "Congratulations from McCombs!" from Shelley at 5:13 pm CDT. However, there is no scholarship information in this e-mail. Have all admitted student receive this email? It is surprising to see no scholarship in GC.

Hi Guys,

Same here, talked to Shelly on the phone and got the second email today.

From what she told me, the scholarship email should come within a week and not the day after.

The statistics say that 75% get a scholarship of some kind so it doesn't make sense that none of us haven't got anything:)

Cheer up, the admissions are busy with r2 apps as well so I think it will take them up to a week to the scholarship emails to come.
