Is there anyone else who got waitlisted from Tuck in R3, I received there feedback today and it says
"At this time, however, there is nothing specific that we would recommend for you to work on while on the waitlist. We know it is difficult to simply wait but we receive three to four times the number of qualified applications than we have seats to offer. We will be watching our enrollment numbers and hope to have space to admit additional applicants from the waitlist in the coming months."
Should I do something in this case?
Is there any chance of getting a seat post R3 based on past data??
Hi vsg700,
sorry for the late response. Tuck is among the very few b-schools which gives individual feedback to waitlisted applicants and they genuinely point out weak areas that applicants can improve on. Its a good sign that they don't want you to do anything any further. However, its impossible to predict if you will make it from the waitlist. You can come off it still, so be hopeful.
In the meantime, if you are planning to apply R1, try to figure out how you can present a stronger profile - both in terms of building it further in the next 3 months and writing better applications.
Also, many of your applications were R3 rejections, so I would recommend applying to a somewhat different mix of b-schools and limiting the reapplication to only 1-2.
Feel free to reach out, should you want me to have a look at your past applications.
