Hey guys, just sharing a quick update — my interview went well overall. I feel I delivered all my answers flawlessly. But unlike the mainstream questions most of you mentioned here, I got a few curveball ones towards the end. Not sure if they wanted to rattle me or what, but I managed to hit them straight.

The interviewer himself was very straight-up, almost robotic. Honestly felt like a Class 12 science viva — he just kept reading off the paper and marking things down, no reactions, no cross-questions. I was hoping for some engagement, but it never came. That said, when I asked him questions about Tuck, he did smile and even said “good question” a couple of times, so I think he noted down positives there.

Overall, it was a good experience. My biggest takeaway: *don’t assume every interviewer will be casual or friendly. Be ready to adapt to their personality and fire off your answers cleanly*

I’m attaching my debrief here with the full list of questions asked, feel free to check it out here- decision-tracker/debriefs.html

Sigh. Sorry. I would say that having robotic mechanical interviews is more common than not almost based on anecdotal feedback so don’t be disappointed.

That’s what happens when you have to do 12 interviews per day 😣

Congratulations and good luck 🤞

Also, a big thank you to GMAT Club. I prepared from the interview question banks shared here over the last 6 years, and honestly, many of my questions came directly from there. So guys please leverage these debriefs — make a list of all the questions, prepare thoroughly. Just like essay prompts, they don’t change interview questions :p

On their slack community they said - They have a one week grace for normal application deadline but no grace for guaranteed interview deadline

Hello guys just a quick one, does Tuck admit on a rolling basis? Like if you apply within a week past round 1 deadline do you have to wait for feedback until when they revert back to round 2 applicants?

Admission decision is released with all R2 applicants if you apply in R2 (i.e. within a week or an hour or a minute past R1 deadline)

Does gmat score have to be reported from mba.com before application submission, or is self submission enough for Tuck?

Yes
This was on their website, however if they’re saying it in their official slack group then that should be valid as well, but maybe mail them once that you need a grace period for a week, just to be double sure and keep it documented
