Hi, I am applying to the round 2 of the program and would really appreciate if any of you can answer two things(might sound lame but just want to be sure)
1. Do we just have to provide the 2 names for our reference and then they are supposed to fill in the details on an online portal as informed by the University?
2. Can we upload scanned copied of our transcripts and then later the actual copied can be submitted? Quite unclear since as per the website they are asking for marksheets to be mailed along with the application.

Hi,

1. Yes. Just provide the details of the 2 referees in you application. They will receive a link that will take them to an online portal for submitting their recommendations.
2. Mailing official transcripts is required only after you have a confirmed admit from the university. For now, a scanned copy of the transcripts is enough.

Hi friends,

I enquired with the adcoms and received an update today. They said that we shall receive an admission decision within 8-10 weeks of our application submission. These 8-10 weeks are business weeks and exclude the holiday that the university will be going on starting 23rd December 2020 till 4th January 2021. So we can expect receiving updates only from 5th January 2020 now. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and enjoy the holiday season.

Do you know how much time I have to give GMAT after I submit the application? OR Do UBC AdCom give a conditional offer based on GMAT?

They said they won’t start reviewing without GMAT, however u can negotiate about this

I have a follow up question... what is the deadline for the referees to submit the LORs? Is the same as application deadline or is it different?

Anyone knows GMAT score required for the scholarship? Would 650 get 10k scholarship or so? Or only 700 and above can be qualified? Any idea from past graduates?
Much appreciate if anyone could advise on this.

Could anyone who already got an interview also advise me how long after application that you got interview invite? And how long after interview you get the result?

And I am still concerned about covid situation will forfeit the sole purpose of MBA - networking....Any advice?

Submitted October 19, got the interview invite November 23, did my interview November 30 and got the acceptance email on December 10th.
