Looks like the status can change and an interview invite can come a few days later (saw this on BW forum)?

So there is still hope! Could actually be a great sign about the status change :)

Hey all,

Did anyone's i/v email from UCLA ([email protected]) go to the SPAM folder, specially for those using GMAIL? I delete the contents of my SPAM folder without checking it. A friend of mine who just got a call had his in the SPAM folder. Is there a way we can find out about this? The application status seems to have no i/v specific message?! Any pointers?

Had to check my spam folder again after reading this. Still nothing but Viagra ads...

I'm surprised you haven't faired better with the 3.97 and two 700+ GMAT scores.

Could you share your WE? Essays strong?

Thanks!

Congratulations to all the applicants who have recently received interview invitations; I hope you all get into UCLA, especially if it's your dream school. I interviewed on Feb 1st and will have waited almost 2 months for a post-interview decision. I'm ready for the waiting phase to end! Fortunately, I hear from Oxford this week...

That's rough. I wish they were all rolling admissions like UT McCombs. Some of the folks on that thread interviewed within 2 weeks of submitting and received a final decision this last week.

Does anyone know how Anderson weighs class visits? I have not done a class visit since my work schedule doesn't really allow that flexibility (which I explained to my interviewer), but I could sense that she viewed this as a "negative."

Has anyone come across this issue and do you know how Anderson looks at this? (I DID, however, attend an on campus info session, so I'm hoping that helps.)

Doesn't weigh at all if you have valid reasons (work, live far away, no money, school...etc).

Definitely will not be any determinative factor in your decision. You attending an info sessions as well is awesome.

Anyone know if Anderson might release decisions prior to March 31, or is it all one big wave on that day?

It seems that A-Days 2 is April 10-11, which seems like a pretty quick turn if all the decisions are on 3/31.

IIRC, UCLA had something like Wharton's box issue in R1. I think admits had some additional info on their app status page before the official word went out... I wonder if they will fix it for R2.

My interview was pretty standard and was with a 2nd year MBA student:

1) Walk me through your resume?
2) Why the MBA now?
3) What are your short/long term goals?
4) Tell me about a critical decision making process you went through?
5) Tell me about your biggest disappointment?

I was wondering how much of the R2 international interview invitations have gone out? I’m an international applicant (unrepresented country) 27/M/ 760, Software engineering & project management, with part time successful entrepreneurship , a creative video for essay 2, and no news yet .
About 10 days ago my status changed to “your application is complete for committee review and will have a decision released by the publish date for your round”

Does this means a ding ? or there is still hope
any ideas will be much appreciated
