upinTheAir, how did your interview go? Mine was pretty casual. My interviewer asked basic questions about my resume, why Anderson, teamwork, etc.

Did you ask Dylan directly about admission decisions?

The UCLA FEMBA interview was pretty straight forward - resume, why UCLA/FEMBA, what can I bring to the program.

While we were waiting for our interviews to begin, Dylan came over and mentioned that they will try to have decisions out by xmas and that they received 122 apps for R1.

The interview went well, pretty straightforward like they outline on their website. Why an MBA, why now, why Anderson, along with some questions asking me to explain a time where I showed leadership and where i worked on a team, etc. It was a half hour with someone from the adcom and a 2nd year student (she was sitting in to understand how to conduct an interview).

At the end they gave me some pretty positive feedback, so fingers crossed!

Don't get anxious, it's still pretty early in the application process. My interview will be after Thanksgiving with a local alum. I will keep you posted.

Happy to know that your interview went well and that you received a positive feedback, financegirl. By the way, I thought that they don't give any feedback and that it's a bad idea even to ask for any feedback. So I am wondering how it happened and what they said at the end, if you don't mind sharing.

RogerDodger: It's too early to get anxious unless you applied a few weeks before the deadline and your application went complete much earlier than Nov 2nd. Even then, the admissions director has repeatedly said that there is no order to interview invites. So hang in there, buddy!

My interview is this coming Monday, and I hope that everything goes well.

wow, seems like a big round of invites, congrats to all who got one...

really anxious now, i applied last year, interviewed and waitlisted, reapplied again in R1. don't know if i should expect another interview or what ....
anybody has experience ... (hopefully not, too painful to go through it twice... : )

Just got a interview invite this morning. International applicant, Canadian in Canada. And to help with speculation/analysis. I did do the optional video essay, and submitted my app just a hour or two before deadline - video edits take a lot of time!

Invites as in interview invites? AFAIK the interview is optional for FEMBA applicants (though I opted to interview anyway)

thatsku, any news from the Admissions Committee yet? Or any email confirmations stating they have looked at your app?

I just got a "Thank You" card from my interviewer. Generic "Thank You" card for attending Super Sat.
