kelea, agreed, thanks for confirming my suspicions, i will go with plan C in any course of action analysis: just wait longer. my gmat score has a marginal quant (79%) but an overall 730 due to verbal skills. i plan on doing nothing, although I could probably go back to the drawing board with gmat just to prove that I care about UCLA (which I do). My take on UCLA waitlist is that retaking gmat is not useful unless you know that's why (ie, you scored somewhere below like 680 (just a ballpark)) and you know from practice tests you could get yourself up into the 700 + range. thoughts?

If your GMAT is way below the average and you got waitlisted then retaking the GMAT makes sense. In your case, the GMAT is not the reason why you did not get in right off the bat.

Got it a few days ago, but living 2 hours from LA is probably a factor in me getting it fast. It had a pen and business card holder but really nothing else that hadn't been mentioned in the emails, unless you don't already have one of their brochure/books.
I'm an applicant from NYC applying for Rd 2. Has anyone heard anything? The original email said we would hear something on the 26th. The next 36 hours are going to be long

The email sounds like we'll just find out whether there's anything missing from the application on the 26th. I'm hoping interview invites go out soon though!
