Summer waitlist for me too. There is a reasonable intake in early June and July based on last year's thread for those of you that can hang on for that long.

As posted previously, it seems Wharton did their waitlist dings a week or so ago so only "good" news yesterday, i.e. an admit or summer waitlist.

I'm still chewing over the result, wondering if I can hang on for a few more weeks, but in the meantime I'm moving ahead quickly with MIT. At this stage, I'm actually pretty fired up about going to Boston!

If Wharton is your only option then I'm afraid you need to start your prep for applying next season. The upside is that you were damn close with Wharton so your application may not need to be massively changed - at least you have that consolation which is more than I had a year ago.

Ah, what a process this is! Best of luck for anyone staying on the summer waitlist! 8-)

Saw that the waitlist update email from last week said that some might hear this week. Anyone heard anything yet? And who is still on the summer waitlist and what are your thoughts about sticking it out?

Don't think many people will show their hand at this stage, but one thing's for sure: nobody is being added to the waitlist! And I doubt I was the only one removed this week (what an ego killer that would be!).

Looking at threads from the past 2-3 years waitlisters were admitted during the summer months, and I know from a Class of 2015 grad that several members of his year were admitted in July. So there's hope.

It's a tough ride for you guys who are left and I wish you luck. Hopefully you have options already and don't have to go through this again...
