There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
its my understanding are the only people who receive a call are those who received fellowships, etc. I think everyone else will find out online.
Correct me if I am wrong.

I think it's more likely, in this case as in others, that there's no hard and fast rule that you're going to be able to figure out as to who they call and who finds on outline

Calls were made to everyone who had fellowships or any money awards AND those that got into joint programs. So it seemed (from last year's postings). All normal admits and dings were notified through email on that Friday.
Right above the "INTERVIEWING 101" section containing the letter from Ankur Kumar on the myWharton MBA page. There used to be one box congratulating you on being selected to interview. Now there are two boxes with the same congratulations message.
Staind, I see that you also applied to Stern. When did you apply? Did you get invited in an interview?
I submitted my applications on November 5, and am still waiting for the invitation!

I was targetting R1 but then I decided to push back to R2 and focus exclusively on my Wharton interview prep. I ended up taking way longer on Essay 3 than I anticipated! I believe they have a 4-6 week turnaround for interview invites so my guess is you should hear back soon!
Thanks for the explanation! I have the same two messages too. I hope this is something good.

I also have the message twice. Never actually went on that site before though so not sure when it changed (always checked status directly through apply yourself site)
Wow, I haven't logged on to myWharton account since I first created it. I got so excited there to see the duplicate... guess it means nothing since everyone so far has this
I think it would be more telling if we had someone who did not have the two boxes right now. I really think it's not related to dings/admits, but as a techie I'm fascinated right now.
So on the myWharton page (I have the double interview thing too, seems consistent across the board), the "View Your Decision" link is active. Clicking on that brings you to the online application and when you log in, you can "View Your Decision."
Clicking on that leads you to the interview invite letter....
I also have the 2 boxes just like everyone else here. So looks like a glitch at their end. @CyberC1, the view decision is currently showing your decision about interview call. This will get updated with your final decision when they release it.

Yeah - I figured that bit out. It's just a bit jumpy on the nerves to see View Your Decision on the page
