first time poster, long time lurker. Is there a way to get feedback from W about Ding after interview?

Firsttime R2, 35 y, 760, 4.0 GMAT, indian, hi tech, good GPAs, great recs, alum int, good ECs.

Kind of confused about the ding. had a very solid application. i could search for answer to the ding in my 4.0 gmat but has been told by people that only verbal and quant scores matter. it is easy for me to pin my ding on age but I know W liberally admits many old applicants even from indian engineering pool.

wp06 - there is an attachment on the Wharton Welcome Weekend website with a more detailed agenda. But basically Friday is biz casual and Saturday is casual during the day and cocktail for night. as for good hotels - the westin and bellevue hyatt also have good locations.

Age could have been a factor? Have you considered an Executive MBA?

Thanks for the useful hotel recommendations, I was too late and rooms at palomar hotel were gone. Is there a shuttle from airport to UPenn?

Not sure (I'm coming in from NYC) but I doubt it.

Can not do much about my age now, applied for the first time. Not knowing what was wrong with the application is probably the worst part. I was advised against retaking gmat. W offers feedback on interview rejects no?

no shuttles from the airport to upenn. there is a regional rail train from the airport that will take you to 30th street station in philly. huntsman is just a 6-7 block walk from there. a cab is a flat $28.50.

Wouldn't recommend that walk with a suitcase....

Or you could get off at 30th and cab it from there. Cabs are pretty cheap in Philly. $7 for the train (you pay once you get on the train), I'm guessing about $6 for the cab, if even that from 30th street.

If you get a hotel in Rittenhouse, get off the train at Suburban/Penn station and you can walk to your hotel in Rittenhouse.

For my interview I took a shuttle from the airport right to my hotel (Sheraton) for $10 (I think thats what it was). You just go to the shuttle desk and they find you a shuttle company that goes that way. I think it was Liberty.
