Okay, so this is a really last minute question.

In the "Activity" prompt of personal information, what kinds of activities are we allowed or are expected to enlist.
Just a double check :)

I don't have the app in front of me so I'm not sure if there are actually instructions for this section or not, but usually this overall section is for extracurricular things (organizations, charities, groups, etc) you've been involved with outside of college and/or post-college. So anything where you'd have a "position" to list, even if that's something like "Volunteer" or "Member." You might not have 5 to list, which is fine.

Hope that helps -- good luck!

What effect does the demographic information (ethnic identification, first in family to attend college) have on admissions? If it really doesn't matter in admissions, why ask at all?

Better start thinking like an MBA for this one! : )

All schools LOVE to have as much information about their incoming classes (and overall applicants) as possible... just like ANY organization/company likes to have as much information/data about its clients/prospects as possible. It helps them market themselves and they use the stats for a ton of different things that have nothing to do with admissions. Marketing materials, diversity efforts, etc.

I'm a reapplicant, and this is my last chance. (If I don't get in this year, I'm not going to apply a third time.) And the level of nervous is truly astounding. I thought that after sending in my app, I would stop fretting. But it just took my fretting to a whole new level. Yesterday, I was in the car, and closed my eyes to pray (don't worry, I was not driving - I was just a passenger!) about getting into business school this year (please please please), and when I closed my eyes, there was still sunlight. But when I opened them it was pitch black. I don't know why this is relevant but I feel like the sun really does set very quickly. I wish I had invested more in my extracurriculars, but alas, it is what it is. I'm trying to mentally prepare myself for not getting in anywhere. Since I'm only applying to three schools and they are all crazy selective, I feel like I have to be prepared for three devastating pieces of news. Is anyone else feeling extremely nervous/defeated like me?

I hear you but believe me, there is nothing more mentally exahusting thing you could do than thinking about what would happen. If you have put your best possible application forward, done your due diligence there is no reason why you wont be invited for an interview when the list gets released on 3rd November. Try to find dissimilarities from your last year of applications that focus on what you have this better than the last time. This will give you more confidence going into interview list releases.

All the best.
