Hmm...looking at posts from R1 it seems like most admitted students actually did see their final decision online...but it can be different this time...

Thurs? Won't the emails start coming out on Fri US time?

Gotta take the tension for one more week!

Earlier this week I spoke with someone in Wharton admissions who said that they'd "call or email Thursday or Friday of next week." This sounds like decisions will be released over a 2 day period.

If you look at the experience of my year and the people admitted to class of 2011, the adcom can actually start calling one or two days BEFORE the official decision release date. I got a call one day before the published date.

Just saw this posted on the Wharton Admissions blog:

To those who intend on visiting campus Monday, March 22 through Friday, March 26, we will not host information sessions during this time. That said, the Campus Visit Program will remain the same aside from the Information Sessions. We look forward to seeing you on campus, sign up today!

https://engage.wharton.upenn.edu/MBA/blo ... ch-22.aspx

Guess this is because they're finalizing decisions, updating the system and making calls next week. This is the final countdown folks.

I think, every time my phone rings next week my heart might stop beating for a moment. And, if my eyes decode the first 6-digits as 215-898-XXXX  then I might go :bouncer

Hehe. BTW, how did your interview go, Jivana? I don't remember hearing about it here on the forum.

It was strictly Ok. Now hoping that my definition of 'OK' aligns with their definition of 'Yes, we want him!'

The interview was tough, the guy threw quiet a few bouncers. I took a couple of them on the head, and pulled a few for boundaries around the midwicket region. No glorious hooks though!

He threw in a few slower ones as well tempting me for the drive. But I read them well and hit them late, straight down the ground!

Last week, some people from a Big4 in Shanghai, China said a girl in this agency got the EARLY ADMISSION from Wharton.

Question. Did any of you guys receive a response to your Thank You email from your interviewer. I interviewed with a second year student, and he never responded to mine.

I interviewed on campus with a 2nd year GA and he never responded to my thank you note either. Don't worry about it. I spoke with someone in admissions earlier this week and he said my interview "went great." I suspect that GAs are coached to limit their engagement with prospective students. Realistically, they would have a lot of "new best friends" if they started a dialog after the interview.

Same for me, but with an alumn. I think that the interview went well.
