I think it should be fine. My recommenders did some minor adjustments and submitted the same. Though I am waitlisted by Wharton, I doubt it’s due to that.

Is it okay to exceed the word-limit for Wharton essays? I observed there is no hard stop in the portal.

I would not advise going over the word limit.

Hi
I don’t have an official transcript (I was dumb enough to think transcript and final semester mark sheet is the same

)
I have emailed the adcom that I will get a transcript as soon as possible but considering the deadline I am planning to upload the mark sheets in a consolidated doc... what would you recommend?

I guess you can upload the best document you have so you can submit the application on time. Also write to the adcom about it and tell them that you are getting your transcript soon.

Hello! I am very literal & have done silly things in my life as well. Don’t put yourself down! In the world of technology- you can typically pay a very small fee to have your official transcripts delivered electronically within 24 hours or less. I’ve gotten mine within minutes! If you go to your school website there should be a section to order transcripts usually via a third party like parchment. Additionally, I was able to upload my transcripts after submitting my application. Cheers! 😊

You don’t need official transcript for application submission (see screenshot below). They only need one wired from your school if you accept the offer.

The ones that I have are like one per semester so I think I still need to get a transcript showing the consolidated scores... not sure what’s the difference between official and unofficial transcripts!!

Oh definitely refer to Nush30! You are probably fine! My apologies! I was referencing my HBS application! Totally different !! Also when you get your official one - I believe you receive consolidated scores like overall GPA ect.

Mine is a two-page transcript that has all the courses with credits, grades and GPA listed, and the reverse side explains the grading system in college and states that medium of instruction was English...This was given to all students at time of graduation and that is what I’ve been using for applications rn as unofficial transcript...The schools need an official statement directly faxed from your undergraduate school if you’re admitted. My school charges a small fees for releasing these official transcript to any university, so that’s something I’ll do one time when I select the final program I wish to enroll in...

Hi! Does anyone know if Wharton provides a grace period for LoRs? One of my recommenders will not be able to submit his till a day after the deadline. Shall mail adcom as well, but would be super grateful if someone already has some info on this

From my perspective it seems if you already submitted scores but decide to take another gmat before applications are due then you could enter new scores if it suits you better!

I had asked adcom about this. If you’ve got a major score improvement then it’s always a good idea to upload both scores. It shows resilience. Having said that, only your highest score is considered.

Thanks...I did exactly that...I had a 30 point improvement in a month, so I added both scores just to be on the safe side.
