Looking for some guidance regarding the new essays for 2017, specifically the 2nd essay:

At Chicago Booth we believe inquiry leads to big, bold ideas. We create a collaborative environment in which you will share, challenge, and support each other's ideas. Tell us about a time you had a "big, bold idea." How did you come up with it, and how did you put it into action?

I'm wondering what others have put here.

I'm considering using my job change as my big, bold idea (I transitioned from MFG Info Sys Mgmt to Data Analytics and Reporting); but, I'm not sure if that would properly fit the unstated confines of the question. Do they really just want a work-related idea? Or, is there room to wiggle here?

Good question. Their FAQ states 4-6 weeks, but it does not say whether that clock starts post submission or post interview. I hope post submission.

Had my interview yesterday (1/25). Did not go well.

My interviewer started out info detailing why he joined Booth's evening program, what he was excited about, and various other items. I started panicking because I was planning to ask him those very things at the end of our interview. Ergo, I fumbled often during my answers and was visibly and audibly nervous. So, I'm not holding my breath for an acceptance call.
