The concrete number is 62 out of 171 admitted so far. (There is a search field "sector" in mbaconnect)

Thanks alot brazas, that is really alot, even a higher proportion than on the previous class profile on INSEAD's website.

Not sure how to read this, maybe positive - the higher number of consultants, the higher the chance of a dropout and a space open for another consultant from the WL :) (not considering how many other consultants might be on WL)

@batman28 - I also got an email from my coordinator early this week informing me about my app completion. I guess the board is quite because people are enjoying the holiday period and have forgotten about their careers for a while! Only fair I would say :)

Hey All ! Does anyone know when the interview calls start dropping by for R2? I am aware that the last date to expect this would be Jan 13th 2012.

To judge from the facts that:
(a) on R1 the mails started coming about a week before the deadline
(b) everyone is on vacation in France.
I wouldn't wait for the mail before Jan 7th.

Right not there are 27 from India

Hi guys,

I am wondering whether anyone of you know/ have heard WHAT IS THE ADMISSION RATE AT INSEAD?
As per our roll call list it is 22%, but our population statistically is too smal to trace such conclusion.

The school does not publish the rate and I really wonder why not? There may be various reasons. I may only guess which.

Please share you thoughts and ideas.

Even I have been looking around for this statistic. Non-US schools generally do not publish acceptance rate numbers i guess.

When I've attended an information session of INSEAD at Tel-Aviv, the admission officer claimed that since European schools don't enjoy the same influx of candidates as the US schools due to post-MBA work visa issues (people who study in the US can work more easily in Europe/ROW than in the opposite case) the numbers can't be compared.

I'm quoting the admission officer (which referred to the difficulty in acquiring work visa in the US if you haven't studied there, not the prospective ease of finding a job with US/EU degree), not stating my opinion. I hope it is clearer now.

Guyz....its almost a month since I have applied (R2) and we are probably days away from getting interview invites...Adding to the anxiety is this vacuum due to holiday period. :?

Thanks. Don't know yet. The email only says that I have been pre-selected and asks me to wait for further details while they sort out details of my interviewers. I guess I need to wait for that first, then reach out to them to pin down the dates.
