Understand it’s hard to tell, but anybody has a view on what % of interview calls have already been given out. We still have 4 more days to go, and it seems that Insead started giving interview calls beginning last Thursday.
By MV, you mean Valerie? Care to share some profile info (industry you are in, gmat, nationality etc.?) I also have VM as my coordinator. I am from Canada. Anyone else from Canada?

Hi batman,
Yeah, by MV I mean Valerie, here is my profile: Age - 27 Nationality - Denmark W/E - 5.5 years (at matriculation) mechanical engineer (project lead) - oil & gas industry GMAT - 690 Academic - MEng (1st class honours - UK degree)
From Canada, haven't heard back yet, Valerie M is my admission contact. I submitted my application on Dec 5th for R2.
Here's my profile:
M/28/Canada Engineering 6+ years in Technology sales and consulting (project management, practice and biz development) 720 GMAT Post MBA - strategy consulting, emerging markets
This is a long shot, I don't expect a positive response, but I'm happy to be proven wrong
Same here from Canada. Do you have any international experience? (like you worked outside Canada if you were born in Canada etc..?)

Yes, born in India, did my undergrad in Canada, worked for an MNC for 3 years (travelled to US, Europe) and currently managing projects with international teams. Plus, my volunteer work brings me in touch with tons of immigrants. So yes, I think I have a solid international background. But as is the case with applicants with an IT and IT consulting background, we tend to be at a bit of a disadvantage for MBA programs. At least, that's what I've observed and have been told on a few occasions.
Anyone know if the rejection emails (pre-interview) they send out have any details in them - i.e. why the application wasn't successful? I'm almost positive my application hasn't made the cut, but a friend of mine who has a thoroughly kickass academic and professional background hasn't heard back either...so maybe there is hope, yeah??
Oh man, I've barely worked today in anticipation of this email. Looks like I'll have to wait another day at least! One way or another I just want to know so that I can calibrate my other applications if INSEAD is a bust.
I majored in EE. GPA is my Achilles heel. It's complete crap thanks to an illness in my last two years of school. I've compensated for it through work experience and have probably submitted the best application I could at this point in my career. Rest is up to lady luck.
I can't volunteer my friend's details without his consent, but with his academic and professional background and international upbringing, he's a complete shoe-in for INSEAD. I'd be VERY surprised if they didn't even invite him for an interview.
I've been reading this forum for a while but this is my first post! Applied for Insead R2 and nervously awaiting a response this week. Seems like a quiet day today - anyone heard anything? Anyone know why some invites are sent earlier or later? Thanks!
