Guys,

That is just my wild guess - "is currently under review" can actually mean that they are currently reviewing the whole R1 applicants' pool and that this review can last till 11 January (interview deadline)

Do we have here anybody from R1 applicants without that status? That is the question

still "submitted"....should i start worrying? I've already sent the GMAT long ago, and they do not require the transcript...so i dunno whats up

I didnt receive an email confirming my application status.

I logged in to check my application status.

I am not sure how significant is that. I have read a couple of msgs on BW forums saying that one should expect an invite within a couple of weeks of change in application status.

Personally I dont believe that view. or am I being too optimistic??

I have a question. My status on the Stanford website says

Submission Status: Submitted
Submitted Date: "Omitting submission date"
Your application is complete and currently under review.

Does this mean my status has changed or should the status in red change to under review. just curious

Hi guys, I was directed to this forum from a post in BW.

Let me introduce myself.. I am another anxious applicant who submitted in R1. It's the only school I applied as it is my dream school. erm, the main concern is my GMAT score. 570. (yay... i know what u feel :-(

) Working 16 hours a day and only have 3 weekends in last 6 months, I just can't get a time to study and retake. Simple as that.

Good luck to all of the applicants, (incl me, I certainly need lots of luck). Cheers

On BusinessWeek I have seen a post where somebody mentioned 4-5 Stanford applicants getting their interviews. I would advise not to worry about them - the timing for interviews is not preset - and - "we will get into or we will not get into" - see above posts :lol:

don´t worry too much about Stanford interviews. They emphasize that they invite as they read, and will continue to invite until Jan 11th. So no need to worry too much. But if anyone does get an invite, do let all of us know so we can wish you luck!

Does anyone not have this status on their Stanford app

Your application is complete and currently under review.

I was just browsing the BW forum and found that people feel that all the apps currently have the same status (irrespective of interview or not). Kindly post if you dot have this message.

Not to scare you, there is a poster who says that if we have this status for a month and not invited for interview, we are doomed.

Boy, i think I shud stop browsing BW. The forum, atleast the Stanford one, is turning me into a cynic
