Hello all,
My question is very simple: can it hurt your chances of being admitted into a top school if you have already applied a previous year?
My particular purpose for asking is to know whether or not it would be worthwhile to fill out applications after 2 years work experience rather than 3 or 4. I think my chances of admittance into top programs will be much higher with at least 3 years work experience, but since I will have already taken the GMAT, it would be interesting to see if I can get into top programs I want to go to after only 2 years.
With that said, should I apply after 2 and test my luck, or can that hurt my overall odds of getting in?

I don't think so. You get plenty of consultants saying stuff like you are young this year, you can apply and if it doesn't work out, you can apply again next year.
But it's alot of work. And might not be worth it if it distracts you from doing the best you can at your job, which will hurt your chances for the next year.
