Hello!
I took my first GMAT about 3 weeks ago and scored 640 (IR 2), I expected to score better, thus, I am preparing to retake it. For IR especially, I have not prepared almost at all.
However, as there is a little time between my first attempt and the application deadline I have to take the GMAT Online a day or two before the deadline. The University says it accepts the proof that I took a GMAT and the Official Reports can be sent later. Class profile is GMAT 600-740, with no IR mentioned.
Realistically, I expect to score about 680 (IR 4) in that second attempt.
May it raise a red flag for admissions officers that I took GMAT 2 days before a deadline and thus, can it be counterproductive? or is it OK, is it something that many people do?
In which of the two cases mentioned above (First: GMAT 640, Official report submitted with the application, Second: GMAT ≈680 Taken 2 days before, booking information submitted with the application) is chances for my application to be considered higher?
