If you've heard of something different, it's best to check with the admissions office at the school you're targeting.

For Canadian mba, when we take educational loan ,should intrest be paid after the course is finished or will u need to pay right from semester starts???

Hi Siddharth,
Where are you taking a loan Canada or India? In both cases, banks will ask you to pay interest every month during your period of studies, on the loan amount you have drawn from your account. However, if you are not willing to do that, Indian banks do have a provision to capitalise your interest. I wouldn't recommend doing this. It will compound your monthly interest of 24 months (2 years) and add it to your principle. Thereby increasing your EMI considerably. Canadian banks will simply debit this interest from your Line of Credit (aka your education loan max limit).
Your EMI will start after you get a job or a moratorium period of 6 months after you graduate, whichever is earlier.

Best,

It will be better if you get a loan from Canada but will you be eligible ? Only if you're a permanent resident or a citizen I suppose !
