Got a 645(89th percentile) on gmat focus. Applying for ISB YLP in Round 1.
Commerce background with above 96% academics in 10th,12th and graduation (bcom hons).
Any chances of getting in?

­Hey! That's a good score. If I just go by your acads and GMAT, then you should get a call. However, the kind of internships/projects/extracurriculars you had also matters. Those details will help with a thorough profile evaluation.

Other than that, it also depends on how well you articulate your goals, how you plan to achieve them, and how ISB will help in your essays and interviews. This is certainly a deal-breaker and this is where majority of aspirants miss out on admits.

­Being an ISB applicant with 89%ile , it didnt prove to be enough.
As YLP you really need to have a stellar profile to get in with that score!

­Got it! Thank you for the insights. I had one more question.
For my application, I have to upload the gmat score report in pdf format. But as far as I know, we can not download the score report in pdf form. Is it okay if I just take a screenshot and upload it? 
Although I have officially sent the score to ISB through my account.

Radhika3020 - ­645 is good, but not great to assure an interview call. ISB tends to have an average (GMAT Classic equivalent of) 675 FE for the PGP batch. As a YLP candidate, the score expectation is typically around this, or higher.

Having said that, the rest of your profile i.e. undergrad pedigree (tier1, tier2 etc.), GPA, internships (and any work-ex), extracurriculars, and how well you present these angles in your application would help determine the outcome.

Wait for an announcement from ISB in this regard, in the month of August.­
