Hi there! Hoping people can help provide their POV on my chances of acceptance to top 10 programs.

Here are my stats:
Undergrad Information: large, well-known state school (could have gone somewhere better but do not come from $$), 3.5 gpa, 3.9 in last 2 years of school
GMAT: 730
Work experience and leadership: 3 promotions - currently employed at one of the top high-tech firms in marketing, running a form of strategy for them. Solid relationships and trusted by c-level execs.
Community and others: half-marathoner, certified meditation teacher and active teacher, volunteer for a big foundation
Post MBA goals: Transition into consulting to help companies outside of just marketing. Long-term goal of working in strategy at a F50.
Other stuff: White female. 7 years work experience

From what I can see here, I think you should have a pretty good shot at Top10 schools. At that level, it depends a bit on the details (which school, which, company, what have you actually done, what does your advancement look like, how much leadership do you have?)... etc. But your base profile looks quite strong!

I hope this helps! And feel free to drop us a line for a free consultation.

From the information given, it looks pretty likely. However depends upon a few different variables. What kind of quantifiable impact have you made? What kind of problems have you solved? Do you have experience in mentorship or people leadership?? Do you have any international exposure? Do you have any kind of leadership experience with a community organization? What is the unique contribution that you can make to a class that nobody else could bring? I think the answers to these questions would help me understand whether you're very likely for a top program or it would be a stretch. I would apply to top 10 but also safety schools in the top 15. Also interested in what your quants score is. If it isn't 49 or better and you just took the exam once and feel there's a possibility of improving it then that might be good use of your time. Assuming that you are applying for round one this coming year.
