Hi all!
Less than a week before deadline I have encountered a HUGE obstacle... I have all my essays done, one of my recommenders is hours away from submitting his letter... and suddenly my second recommender (current recommender) told me that she was not going to write me the letter. To give some context, my company has never had someone pursuing an MBA and are not used to the process, and someone told her yesterday that by submitting a LOR she was kind of representing the company and with all the responsibilities that mean (in her mind, she would be giving away confidential information such as employee's information.....)
I have already set her up as my recommender, so I cannot say that I am applying to BSchool behind my supervisor's back. Any advise?? I am freaking out... Can I change my recommender? Would I need to address this issue on the optional essay?

If you have not submitted the application and the current recommendator is not willing submit the form, you can always delete his/her name from the application portal and add someone else in the list. There is no record that shows you change your recommendator. You can change the name 100 times by following the same process.
In case you submitted your application but want to change the name later, you can send an email to admissions team saying that the recommendator is not available, so I want to change the name. I would personally not prefer this route.
I would prefer to do whatever change I want before hitting the submit button.
