I intended to apply in Round 1 for January intake, the deadline for which is 15th March. However, I now want to convert the application to Round 2 submission. INSEAD on their webpage states that not meeting the deadline will ultimately lead to rolling over of the application to next round until all the rounds of that application cycle are exhausted. I am not sure whether not meeting a particular deadline will have any adverse effect when the admission committee reviews my application, and, in addition, I am not finding any option in the online application to change the Round in the online application.
Is there anyone here who knows how to convert a Round 1 application to Round 2, or does anyone know whether not being able to meet a particular Rounds deadline despite aiming for that and rolling over of it will have any adverse impact on the candidature?

Don't over-complicate it. I think before you press the submit button and pay the fee none sees your application or the day when you actually started it. I am a J18 Round 2 admit and I did exactly the same. Was late for September 21st deadline (R1), however already started my application in the system
I had to apply in R3 instead of R2 as I was pretty sure i will not be able to put together a strong application. I applied in R3 and got an interview invite. Hope this helps! I don't think any AO will spend time on analyzing this information. You apply when you are ready!

Did you get through? Your profile doesn't specify whether you got an admit.

Hey partner - I rolled my R1 application into R2 and was admitted. I had 1 recommender submit his LOR in R1, and he submitted a (new and updated) LOR for R2. Just let it roll.
