This is one of the challenges of applying in different rounds you set yourself up for difficult situations like this one. I think you need to ask yourself if yo would rather not attend business school as a worst case scenario or if you want to play it safe with Cornell. Some applicants put deposits down at multiple schools but that course of action is generally frowned upon. I'd recommend talking to the waitlisted school see if they can accommodate you but be prepared to have to make a tough decision given the unlikelihood of a change in status.
