Co-op Work Experience for application

I completed my engineering degree with a co-op program in Canada. For all of those who don't know what coop means, co-op was an integral part of my degree mandated by the university, co-op is a little more than an internship. My degree encompassed 20 months of coop work experience. This work experience is generally better that the traditional internships as this work experience has to be gained in the field of study that i was pursuing while obtaining my undergrad.

Can anybody guide me whether i should add this experience in addition to the full time experience gained after my convocation/graduation?. Half of this experience in canada is accounted as part of the professional designation, so this experience counts for my professional engineers designation.
