I plan to study MBA in Columbia for Fall 2011 and would like to know which round of applicaiton would be more advantageous to me (given my profile below), if there is any?
demographics: 26/female/HK
academic/ tests: GPA 3.3, GMAT 710, CFA lvl3 passed
job experience: working at a real estate private equity fund for 3.5 yrs
aspiration: to work for general private equity fund focused on sustainability investments post-MBA
almost all CBS alumni or current students said the acceptance rate for the early admission round is higher than the regulars. But one of them also suggested the possibility of applying early for the regular session given the rolling admission system and the fact that i would be hitting the END of the early admission where the seats are likely to be filled up by the time i submit my applicaiton (6 Oct). Alex, any view?
i'm also targetting to apply to NYU and Cambridge in UK (safety). Would you also recommend another "safe" school based on my profile that I have a reasonable chance to get in?
Many thanks !! Looking forward to your early reply.
