Hi there,
I am very interested in completing the Columbia MSRED program this year and recently spent a week in NYC sitting in on MSRED classes and thoroughly enjoyed them. However, I have sat the GMAT a couple of times and my recent score is a 640 which is not a true reflection of my intelligence level however I have not been able to "beat the GMAT". I will not resit the GMAT (if I was to do another exam I would sit the GRE instead) but I will not have time before this years deadline (15 January).
My background:
28 y/o Australian male
Working in private equity for 3 years focussed on real estate
Previously I had my own online Australian retail business which I sold before joining private equity firm.
GPA equivalent 3.5
Received two university scholarships
College school captain, extensive extra corric etc.
There is very limited information on GMAT score required however Columbia post a minimum GRE required which is equivalent to 540 GMAT.
What are my chances?
I really want to go this year and I believe I am a great candidate but give it to me straight.
Thank you
