Hey may I ask, if you hold European and non European citizenship is it better to apply as non European for not competing in the European pool? Any advice? Thanks
It depends. Programs try to build diverse classes so they don’t just look at applicants European Union or outsider. They want diversity so if you are from Australia or Japan then you could apply as a citizen of those countries but if you come from more competitive nations of China or India then you’re much better off applying as a European.

However at least in the Business school world, that’s a different demographic from masters , the European applicants are usually a minority even for European programs, so applying as a European is usually never a bad choice but I will let someone more knowledgeable about masters perhaps confirm more overrule 😇

Im from Argentina
Doh. Should’ve looked at the country code.

Perhaps the best of both world is apply as an Argentinian and indicate you have a European work permit second citizenship.

But take this with a lot of caution and perhaps ask other people as well because my experience is primarily with MBA programs and I don’t know as much about the demographics for the schools you’ll be applying 😇

Little bit curious about one of the consultant views saying that due to US thing people who would have been applying to US will be applying to EU now, won't it ballon up the GMAT avg and competition?

Niceeee!
This list is for MIM and equivalent programs, right?
Yes for now I made it for MiM. We can scale it for MiF and other programs if we have enough participants

The rules have just been released, so both schools and applicants are still new to it. Nobody has concrete stats yet, so it’s tough to assume anything. Competition was already there, and for MiM the general public has always leaned more towards the EU side anyway. Plus, EU schools usually treat GMAT as just one part of the application, not the sole deciding factor. Best not to stress over these things..just focus on making your application as strong as possible from your end 👍

(If I were an applicant I would hold this opinion others can put their views too)

Thanks, Tonmoy, totally agreed. Basic mantra: control the controllables - never to stress about the things that are not in our hands!!

What do you think is the biggest difference in applications or profiles they want to see between MiM and MiF?
