Hi, I was preparing for GMAT and applications for MiM. But I attended a webinar today, by HEC Paris, in which they told me that maximum 3 years after graduation you can apply for MiM, which they haven't mentioned in the eligibility criteria at their page, after which they encourage for MBA, I graduated in 2021 , and I don't have any work experience after that, due to some genuine reasons, also I upskilled myself in that time on my own, but I am self aware and clear about my goals and motivation. Now as I graduated before 3 years, I can't apply for MiM. Also not for MBA as I don't have proper work ex, people with atleast 3-4 years work ex apply for that. I am really confused now as my focus was this only.
Kindly guide, and also if you know, tell if it's like that in every b-school like essec, escp?
For LBS it is quite strict as their course is just for 1 year
For ESSEC and ESCP it depends on what you did in those years and if there are genuine reasons to support.
Like you said you upskilled but did you use those skills somewhere during the years since you were not working? If yes highlight them in your CV and if not I’ll not sugarcoat but it will be a bit tough to accommodate in the cohort for the admission teams
The MiM Is a pre experience program as stated in the website so even if you don’t have work experience and a slightly higher duration between application and graduation it’s okay as long as you are able to justify the “why MIM” question in the application essay
PS : in case of doubts that you think could alter your application ( what if I do this and I get rejected..the first PoC should be adcoms )

And if someone has around 2 yrs 6 month work experience are we still eligible for the MiM program
Yes you are..except LBS (which has strict 2 year rule)
When I applied I had work ex of 2.1 years approximately(didn’t face any issues with any school)
