Just a small suggestion to everyone who just got admitted :
1. Start researching your own options and donot be dependant on someone who did the program >1.5 years (situations change)
2. Find the job roles you want to target (not vague ones like I wanna do consulting..okay but what type of ? And which industry management , ESG, strategy etc.)
3. Build your skillset according to the job role and be in contact with HRs / people in the similar industry
4. *You cannot get a citizenship just because you got a job in there* ( if someone is saying you this beware..things are pretty different at this moment)
5. If you want a role in an European country learn the native language as soon as possible( if you want a client facing role you have to do it)
6. if someone got a job in client facing role but still doesn’t know the native language( there is a possibility and many of you will argue on this ) but trust me you will not feel included in the team
7. enjoy the journey if you want to study in a school abroad ( they prefer work life balance )unlike schools in India where everything is about job , PPOs
8. Lastly you cannot compare the schools in two different regions coz everything is different in all aspects..if you have written your answers to Essays honestly just not for the flex of studying in a school abroad you will be able to judge it without any issues ( I tried to frame an article on it an it turned out to be bs to compare)
note : I don’t want to sound harsh to anyone but this is the reality that I see in here after living both in Asia and Europe.Hope it helps !
