Commercial: At the Soupcon Soup Company, we take our commitment to deliciousness very seriously. We will continue to make constant improvement to the quality of our ingredients and the methods by which we keep those ingredients fresh and ready for you to serve! That’s what makes us AMERICA’S #1 SOUP!

If the statements made above are true, which of the following must also be true?

(A) Soupcon’s rival companies can stay competitive with Soupcon only by adopting similar policies in regard to deliciousness.

(B) In order to be very popular, a soup company must be dedicated to freshness, quality, and taste.

(C) Soupcon’s commitment to deliciousness can progress at the current rate only as long as there are higher quality ingredients and preservation methods to which it can strive.

(D) A soup company that rests on its laurels will find that its customers have moved on to other brands of soup.

(E) The majority of American households use Soupcon soup.

Must be true questions needs an answer only from the argument. We cannot assume anything from outside/real world conditions.

Here are my views--

(A) Soupcon’s rival companies can stay competitive with Soupçon only by adopting similar policies in regard to deliciousness.--No such thing is stated in argument.Eliminate
(B) In order to be very popular, a soup company must be dedicated to freshness, quality, and taste.--Out of Scope.Eliminate.
© Soupcon’s commitment to deliciousness can progress at the current rate only as long as there are higher quality ingredients and preservation methods to which it can strive.--Now this is true as the argument states that "We will continue to make constant improvement to the quality of our ingredients and the methods by which we keep those ingredients fresh and ready for you to serve".Correct.
(D) A soup company that rests on its laurels will find that its customers have moved on to other brands of soup.--A tougher option to eliminate but then nothing is stated of a customers who will move onto other brands.Eliminate.
(E) The majority of American households use Soupçon soup.--Being number 1 does not necessarily mean that majority of American Households use them.It cab be that the market is divided within many players viz. 35%,25%,25%,15%.Eliminate.

I always prioritize answer choices that contain one or more words from the stimuli. In this case it would be quality, this narrows it down to B or C. They talk about preservation which is a paraphrased version of freshness which is another word mentioned in the stimuli. When I compare C to any of the other answers it is the only one that is in scope.
