Hi,
Actually I am a bit confused these days & wasting my time over finding a right ( but not that expensive ) admission counselor here in Delhi ( India ) .I have already given GMAT but scored a dismal 550 .Going to retake in another 2 weeks - 30th November.As I won't be having much time after my retake , so I want to finalize a consultant who can help me throughout the essay & other application process.But I have few questions .I hope people here could help me out .
I have heard a lot about veritas consulting services & people have told me that they provide services in India .Veritas has some collaboration with Career Launcher in INDIA , through which Veritas provide admission consulting services .Can somebody confirm this ?
Secondly , I have a question regarding how should I plan out my things after the GMAT ( given the stringent timeline I would be going to face to finish & send the applications stuff over to the universities) :
I am aiming for the following universities ( Selected them based on their good Brand Management programs ) :
University of Texas--Austin (McCombs)
Indiana University--Bloomington (Kelley)
Georgetown University (McDonough)
Ohio State University (Fisher)
Johnson at Cornell
Kellstadt Graduate School of Business - (DePaul )
I am planning to give TOEFL 10 days after I retake the GMAT ( 11th December ) , but I have a doubt . How many days does it take for TOEFL scores to be sent to the respective destinations ?
Can I send Transcripts straight away after giving GMAT . So that I can be sure that transcripts reach the colleges on time ?
I have started some work on the essays but due to loads of office work & GMAT prep I am unable to focus on essays .But would like some professional help throughout the whole application process , so that I don't miss out anything .
Would really appreciate if someone can throw some light & help me by answering my queries .

You definitely need to get your GMAT score out of the 500's. Be sure that you are identifying your areas of weakness and preparing properly before retaking. Generally, you do not want to take the test more than three times as it is not viewed favorably. You can request your transcripts at any point so you should have then sent to your target schools as soon as possible. The TOEFL official site states : "Your scores will be posted online, usually within 2 weeks after the test date. They’re also mailed to you and the universities or institutions you selected."
