Hey guys!

Are any of you considering applying through the Consortium? I'm interested in learning more about it.

I have a 3.6 GPA and a 640 GMAT. I'm retaking my GMAT shortly to improve my dismal Quant score and want to start working on the applications immediately after. Thanks!

Hey Jose! EssaySnark here - not a fellow applicant like you but we did want to point you to some posts on our blahg about The Consortium:

* An intro to this program for those who are unfamiliar: diversity candidates and The Consortium
* The Consortium application- from 2011 so some of the info there may be out of date
* More on diversity in bschool

We've had a whole bunch of people get in through the Consortium and we're happy to help - we also do free essay reviews here on GMAT Club so if you or anyone wants to take a go at it, please do! (they're posted anonymously with all identifying information review so you wouldn't be 'outed' if you're nervous about that part).

Good luck and let us know how we can help!

I applied this past application period through consortium and highly encourage you to do the same. Your stats are solid, and I definitely had friends with those stats get into consortium schools. Some of the schools I applied to were Cornell, Berkeley, and Tuck. I document my application journey here if you would like more detail, and happy to provide any perspective on the consortium route,
