hi,
I am intrested to apply to Richard Ivey School of business and was wondering if you could tell me if i would be a good candidate for their MBA program:
1) GMAT - 620 (V-31, Q-43, AWA 5.5).
2) Work Experience - 5.5 years to date.
3) Qualifications: Bachelors in Commerce (First Class), Masters in Commerce-Part 1 (First Class), Post Graduate Diploma in Management - First Class.
4) Extra Curriculars: A lot into sports and Outdoor Activites till Undergraduation. nothing after that, no Social Work except for monetary help and teaching in my village sometimes, for which i have no proof.
Current Work Profile: Managing the Valuation and Analytics for an Asset Management Company, leading a team of 75 Analysts. Got promoted from an Analyst to a Manager, with the responsiblity of managing the entire Valuation platform in 2 years with the current organization. If co-ordinating work between 3 different Cultures (Indian, American and German) considered as International Exposure then i do have but have never stepped out of the country.
I intend to continue my career in the Asset Management or Management Consulting industry. Looking to get a more front ending role.
Would be very grateful if you could please give me your thoughts on my Candidature to Richard Ivey in particular or any other good business school in North America.
I am absolutely willing to re-write the GMAT again, if it is the most important factor that will be looked at.
Thank You
