Hello,
I have applied to Darden's new Future Year Admissions for their MBA program which basically offers admission that you can defer by 2-4 years before starting your MBA.
I am an Indian International candidate with a 680(Q50,V32,IR 8 and AWA 5) and have about 3 good finance internship and multiple extracurriculars and had been accepted into Ross and Fuqua for their Masters in Management programs and I believe I have a strong essay for Darden.
I would like to know how Darden hands out interviews as it's almost been a month since I applied and there was no interview decision date on their site although I called up and they had said interviews will be sent out until the 8th of June.
What do you think are my chances to be invited to interview with Darden considering this is the first year that Future Year Admissions has been launched?

Hi, thanks for reaching out about your question on Future Years at Darden. I would say that a 680 GMAT is not likely to be in the "sweet spot" for their most compelling candidates- but I have not seen your entire application so I can't say for certain. In terms of when you should expect a reply from Darden, I would say go to this link for more info and reach out to ask as that is a question the school can certainly answer for you! Ahh with this new format it will take me some time to adjust- if they say they will let you know up until June 8th or 9th then I would take them at their word for that. I don't know how this will go- my sense is that a higher GMAT would have helped a bit more for this- but I don't have all the information. I would say- trust the process and I hope it works out well and ask for feedback if possible at the end of the road if it is not what you hoped. I am rooting for you!
