Can you write the answer in a paper and send i still didn’t understand
2Sn=2(Sn-1)-1->Sn=(Sn-1)-1/2->try for n=2->S2=S1-1/2 ->try for n=3-->S3=S2-1/2->S3=(S1-1/2)-1/2=S1-1-> try for S4 -> S3-1/2= S1-1-1/2=S1-3/2. Generalise for n we get Sn=S1− (n-1)/2 --> S490=500-498/2=251

Looking for a study partner to track and review DI practice. I am fine with GT and TPA, need to improve on DS. If you’re someone who is done with DS needs to tackle GT and TPA, we can collab and get it done together.

Do not intend to spam this group. If someone is interested, kindly PM me. Thank you!

How option C is the right answer
1/8+1/5 = 13/40 spent so 27/40 is remaining--- after that 4/9 is spent-- which is 5/9 remains-- 5/9*27/40---- 15/40--- again 1/3 is saved--- 2/3 is left.... 15/40 *2/3== 1/4

How option C is the right answer
Suppose his monthly income to be 40. Then, solve according to the wording of the question carefully. You’ll get the answer (at last his monthly income left is the amount he has, after saving from total).

How option C is the right answer
The wordings are pretty awkward. ’What portion of Michael’s monthly income is left’. Does the word ’left’ means ’savings’ or something else as the answer suggests. These questions take total as LCM of denominators as it may ease further calculations. Total 360..... food - 45, vehicle loan - 72, so rent - 4/9 of (360-(72+45)) = 108. Remaining = 360-45-72-108 = 135. Saving - 1/3 of 135 = 45. Left = 135-45 = 90. Portion of total = 90/360 = 1/4...C
