Hi, I need some advice on this Section of the exam. I’m doing quite well on Quants and Verbal but DI is pulling my score down. Maximum I have achieved is DI78 which is poor, mostly because of my inability to complete the section in time. I guess my problem stands in MSR and maybe some of the DS questions. MSR seems really convoluted and it feels like a task to extract only the important information. Can someone please give any sort of advice to get better at it in limited time?

For MSR, start by quickly scanning all the tabs to get a sense of where the relevant information is, so you’re not wasting time on details that don’t matter. Time management is critical, so practice answering questions in timed sets, and if something looks too complex, flag it and move on to easier ones, then come back to it later. For DS questions, always simplify the problem by breaking it down and asking yourself if you truly have enough information to answer. More mock exams under timed conditions will help you improve both speed and accuracy. Lastly, just practice more. Nothing beats practice, absolutely nothing. Thank you so much, I’ll try incorporating these. I have planned to give the exam next month. I’m currently unemployed so I can take out a decent time to practice more and more. Do you have any suggestions as to where to practice from? I think I have exhausted pretty much all the good questions on GMAT Club (except for the Focus mocks ones)
