No clue what IPMAT is 😬😬😬 if there is an overlap in questions, you can practice and read answer discussions… or maybe some timing and study approaches… what are question types on that test?

I got this one question in DI where i thought it had to be solved using pythogorus theorem. But somehow it didnt make any sense because 9-12-15 traingle was my initial guess but since 12 wasnt there i had to guess and move on. Anyone has a better approch to this. Thanks in advance.

You are correct. I think there is a mistake in the question. There is no reason how you could explain the answer given by gmat.

the-straight-line-distance-between-town-a-and-town-b-is-15-km-most-tr-421607.html

I just posted this question. My initial thought on this was that it has to be solved as a 9-12-15 triangle using pythagoras theorem. But since there was no 12 in the option i guessed 13,8 (one bigger one lesser) and moved on. If someone has a better apporch to it please help me understand it. Thanks in advance.
