I’m not the best person for this. Approach was pretty unstructured
But it was mostly through the OG questions on GMAT club

And I went through all the GMAT focus prep questions 2-3 days before the exam (would not advice if you plan to take the official mocks)

First mock score was 535 (taken on 16th October I think) second was 695

How did you find the quant and verbal questions? Were they similar to the Official Guide and Practice Exams?

And did you only take two official mocks?

So basically, you studied for about 2 months?

Also, those are preparing for the GMAT Focus and using the free practice materials on mba.com, do you think the ratings like "intermediate/proficient" etc. are accurate predictors of our ability in that particular segment?

Guys, how many of you have actually used an online study platform (e.g. e-GMAT, TTP, etc.)? I want to hear from e-GMATers, like, do these 2/3 month time-frames suggested by the study plan actually help a person who’s base score isn’t that high?

If it helps, I’ve learnt through the years that with structured exams (I did ACCA so I got used to the drill), its always a case of asking an elephant to climb the tree (the elephant technically could break the tree to access the fruits instead of climbing it) Sometimes it works in your favour and sometimes, it doesnt though.

I just practiced DI in Mocks. Nothing much as there aren’t many study materials. And I just checked, probably I got all the DS qs correct. So, that might have pushed my DI score.

Btw, I’m only following the materials on mba.com at the moment. Not the ones from GMAT Club

They provide around 70 free practice questions which I’m using to time myself

There shouldn’t be any repetition in that case, right?
