Can anyone confirm if the questions in the above directory appear in gmat prep tests 1-6? The source for the questions is IR classic edition prep tests. However im not sure if the focus tests have taken questions from the classic edition mocks
rd170905, yes the DI questions are tougher and more complex than they seem, and that makes them even more challenging. Non-Math related test logic, be it in terms of If .. then sentences or playing around with words and order of things. Math -related generally restrict to the concepts tested earlier but again wordings makes them tougher. Is there a short cut? May not be. Thinking logically is the key, so try to analyse PS and DS too logically. Understand the types of question and tricks hidden in the words, and of course do more questions.
We can say that 5% is 1400. So all but guides and monographs do not have corresponding equality in the two graphs. So circle graph includes excess of monograph. Answer in 2: monograph in the circle graph includes items……. Also answer in one on the similar manner is Answer in 1: guides in bar graph (7000 is 25%) includes items

This could be 650 level (medium) question?
One of the questions I was able to understand very clearly without any ambiguity lol
Yup, 3% should be correct... Total marks obtained ~ 400 In Algebra -- Total Obtainable - 210 (42*5) Total Obtained - 168 (Adding all the marks Amy got in Algebra) Marks lost - 42 In Geometry -- Total Obtainable - 180 (36*5) Total Obtained - 150 Marks Lost - 30 (42/400)*100 = 10.5 (30/400)*100 = 7.5 Amy lost 3% more in Algebra than in Geometry
