Wow you got one amazing score!

Everything looks great on paper. There’s a little bit of a question about the transition to investment banking and Weather you have enough industry experience to make yourself attractive. That would be the only gap I could see but I’m trying to dig deep here 😂

Thanks so much! That is reassuring. The transition to IB, I realise I don't have a ton of experience but gotta start somewhere. What might help is that I've cleared CFA L2 and perhaps can highlight some financial analyses I've done at work.

I am pretty clueless when it comes to the IB recruiting, esp in the current market. so I would recommend finding someone who has gotten a summer internship in the firm your targeting and finding out how they did it. Sometimes I’ve been looking at their LinkedIn profile you can tell - eg worked for Intel prior, or a specific industry…. I would recommend actually speaking with them - he will learn an amazing wealth of information related to recruiting and admissions and it will be extremely helpful during the application process because it will demonstrate that you have done your homework and therefore will strengthen your application, If you can drop a name during the interview or in the essay. AdCom com picks up things like that. One thing is to have a plan and another is to have a plan that has been vetted.

PS. It’s really helpful for your application and recruiting if you can even narrow down the banks where you would like to work or recruit at.

Good luck with your application applications! Or rather I should say interviews since it looks like all of them have been submitted.

As a quick profile review, I think a lot of the admissions teams will be torn seeing your profile because they’ll see a very capable young professional. At the same time they will want to see that you are ready for what’s after business school and that the recruiters will see you similarly as a strong asset. The big question will be are you ready for the management position and if you’re a consultant are you going to impress the client? I’m not doubting that you will but I’m just saying that is the question that will be asked because admissions committees often evaluate you as a hiring manager Wood, would you be hired for the position you’re looking to get into among other things that admissions committee evaluate for.

I cannot answer this question just obviously not enough details in the profile but I think you will easily or should be easily able to evaluate your presentation, speaking and presence. Having just the technical skills is only a part of the picture for consulting and a big component of it is convincing the client that you are worth billing $500 an hour for.

However you have a lot of positives going on for you including time, you have plenty of time to become stronger and better in case the answers you receive this year not exciting enough for you. I have no reasons that you would not get a positive response by the way so don’t read between the lines. I’m just saying in the worst case scenario, which is a pragmatic product manager I have to consider every time 😇

The sector story is good(clean tech / circular economy). Brand + partnerships background, fits marketing/brand/product tracks in top MBA programs.

Things adcoms will probe: 3.41 GPA, lower than the median at many top programs; adcoms will want proof you can handle rigorous academics. A 325 GRE score is decent. Convert your top 6 achievements into metric-driven STAR bullets (revenue impact, partnership value, campaign ROI, brand lift, CAC/LTV improvements, budgets managed, team size/scale, time saved). These feed essays, LOR briefs, a resume, and interviews. One or two short courses with graded assessments (example: Coursera / edX analytics, marketing analytics, A/B testing, finance) to prove academic rigor and offset UG GPA. Attach certificates/transcripts.

Sharpen the “why MBA / why now” + a 3-year plan. Be explicit: short-term role (Head of Brand / Product Marketing / Growth at a mid-large tech or sustainability firm), long-term (CMO or founder scaling circular-economy platform). Map 2 school resources to each goal. If timing allows, commit to a visible project you can cite in applications: run a sustainability marketing pilot, publish a case study, or lead a measurable NGO initiative (dog NGO expansion metrics). Schools value demonstrated on-campus/community contribution potential.

However, since you haven’t specified your industry or role, it's hard to assess your fit with consulting as a post-MBA goal. Adcoms will want to see clear alignment between your past experiences, your motivation for an MBA, and how you plan to transition into consulting afterward.

Not planning to take a test makes the application more challenging, as HEC generally recommends the GMAT/GRE unless you qualify for a waiver and have strong academics and professional credentials. If your undergrad academics were average or if your work isn't strongly analytical/quantitative in nature, the absence of a test score could hurt your chances.
