With over eight years of experience in the Product Control and Risk functions at global financial institutions such as Bank of America, Société Générale, and Barclays, I have led projects, managed teams, and implemented automation initiatives that delivered significant time and cost efficiencies. I currently serve as a Senior Manager at Bank of America.
Academically, I am a Chartered Accountant and have completed the CFA and FRM certifications. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce through distance education, completed alongside my demanding CA training and internship. My GPA was low due to very tough evaluation criteria of Chartered accountancy program.
In the short term, I aim to move into a strategy or operations leadership role at a global firms. My long-term goal is to launch a tech-driven startup.
I’m targeting roles in the UK, Europe, or North America.

• Indian, Male, 25Y
• Work Experience: 2 Years as a Software Engineer in a Manufacturing, Tech-based SME (previously a startup)
• Acads: 9/7/9 (10th/12th/Undergrad)(Undergrad CGPA->GPA = 3.9/4)
• Undergrad: B.E (Mechanical Engineering) from a Tier-2 Engg. College
Extra-curriculars:
1. Patented an invention (IP, Government of India)
2. Published an International Research Paper (Elsevier)
3. Won a National Level Competition for an innovative business model.
4. Japanese JLPT N3 Certification (Japanese Language Proficiency Test)
Goals:
Currently studying for the CFA Level 1. Having worked in a startup and promoted to Team Lead within a year, I actively developed an innovative prototype for a 3-D Printing solution. The project did not achieve liftoff due to a lack of funding from Japanese Clients, despite being promising. A long term dream of mine is to work in Venture Capital, and be able to support growing startups that show great potential.
While I understand that it may not be possible to directly get into a VC Firm Post-MBA, the primary goal is to pivot from Tech to Finance as soon as possible. Getting a role in Consulting, for instance, could pave the way for me to transition into Venture Capital gradually, as I strengthen my foothold in the management domain.
To achieve this, I prefer to pursue a two-year, full-time MBA. I am eager to return to being a student and to contribute meaningfully in the classroom. A full-time MBA would allow me to focus on my chosen specialization and gain hands-on experience through a summer internship as I transition from tech to finance.

I work as a civil service officer int he federal government of Pakistan, at a leadership position in the oldest and most pervasive public sector organizations. I lead a team of 300 in my division. most work is administrative and geared towards achieving profit targets. I plan to pivot to consulting specifically in the development and public sector advisory roles. In the long term I plan to use that experience to return to my nation as an entrepreneur, venturing into increasing efficiency and creating public value at inefficient public sector institutions, the major factor of economic downturn in Pakistan.
