Admitted students have between 1 and 4 years of experience
Deadline: You can apply in any round, but most applicants tend to apply in R3 deadline, which is 12 Apr 2022
Eligibility:
1. Undergrads in the final year of a bachelor’s degree or a joint bachelor/graduate program. Their degree will be conferred between 1 October 2021 and 30 September 2022.
2. Students enrolled in a graduate program that began immediately following an undergraduate/graduate program.
What you need to apply:
Essays: Word Limit: Both essays combined may not exceed 1,050 words. We recommend up to 650 words for Essay A and up to 400 words for Essay B.
Essay A: What matters most to you, and why?
For this essay, we would like you to reflect deeply and write from the heart. Once you've identified what matters most to you, help us understand why. You might consider, for example, what makes this so important to you? What people, insights, or experiences have shaped your perspectives?
Essay B: Why Stanford?
Describe your aspirations and how your Stanford GSB experience will help you realize them.
Optional Question A
Think about times you've created a positive impact, whether in professional, extracurricular, academic, or other settings. What was your impact? What made it significant to you or to others? You are welcome to share up to three examples (up to 1,200 characters, or approximately 200 words, for each example).
Optional Question B:
Tell us about a time within the last three years when your background influenced your participation in a situation, interaction, or project.
In answering this question, consider how your background, such as your work, education, skills, interests, culture, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, where/how you grew up, and/or other factors had an impact on your recent actions and choices (up to 1,200 characters, or approximately 200 words).
2. GMAT/ GRE
3. TOEFL: If your college or university taught all classes exclusively in English for either your undergraduate or graduate degree, then you are not required to take the TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE. If this college or university is located in a country where English is not the primary language of daily life, please explain your circumstances in the Additional Information section of your application.
4. Two recommendations are required.
If you are currently a full-time student, we encourage you to select recommenders who have supervised your extracurricular activities or work, such as internships or part-time jobs.
Recommendation questions are:
1 How does the applicant’s performance compare to that of other well-qualified individuals in similar roles? Please provide specific examples (e.g., what are the applicant’s principal strengths?). (Up to 500 words)
2 Describe the most important piece of constructive feedback you have given the applicant. Please detail the circumstances and the applicant’s response. (Up to 500 words)
