Hello!
I’m applying for deferred mba programs as a college senior and wanted a review, if possible!
Majors- Computer science and Economics
Internships- 5 internships, 4 as software engineer and 1 as an analyst
Full time job- secured a job as an analyst for a bank on Wall Street post graduation
Gpa- 3.88 (CS) 4.0 (Econ)
GMAT - 640 ( Q48/V30/ IR 8 )
Extracurricular- Heavily involved throughout college through student government, financial committees and engineering organizations. Also ran in student body elections at a university of 46000 students and got elected as a senator for undergraduates students.
Ethnicity- Indian. Lived in Nepal/India before college for 9 years each.
Gender - Female
Also chosen as a student speaker for convocation at the university to address incoming class of over 7000 students.
I am aiming to apply to Harvard, Wharton, Kellogg, Stanford, Berkeley, Columbia.
Despite a good gpa, leadership involvement and being a girl with a stem background; I haven’t been able to do well on the GMAT. I simply don’t do well on standardized test, despite being an academic student otherwise.
Kindly let me know if I should still have any hopes with my application!
